What do I need to bring to my first session? You should bring any letters, reports or information you think might be relevant to you treatment. If you are claiming a medicare rebate, you should also make sure you bring your mental health treatment plan and referral with you. If you do not bring your referral, you will not be able to access a medicare rebate. If you are booking in for a walking session, we ask that you send this information through prior to your session.

If I am coming for a walking session, what do I wear?"For your walking session, you can wear whatever you are most comfortable in. A lot of clients choose to wear casual clothes or active wear. Your psychologist will be in casual clothes as well. You can even take off your shoes if you would like to walk along the sand!

What if I see someone I know when we are walking? If you are local to the area, this is a possibility and we can not guarentee that this won't happen. At your first session, you can discuss how to handle this with your psychologist, and you can mention your concerns at the time of booking to decide if walking therapy is right for you.
-
Can I get my rebate at my session?Yes! We are able to process your medicare rebate following your session, after you make payment as long as you have provided us with a referral and a mental health treatment plan that has been developed with your gp. If you are on a walking session, we will send you the invoice following your session. Once you pay for your session, we will supply you with an updated invoice to present to medicare who will process your rebate for you.
